Step 2: Identify One Problem

  • What is the biggest pain point your avatar experiences? Zero in on a problem that keeps them up at night.

Step 3: Develop One Solution

  • How will you solve this problem? Your offer should be simple, impactful, and irresistible.

Remember: Unless you’re already making $1M in revenue, don’t pivot or change directions. Focus relentlessly on this niche, one problem, and one solution until you get consistent results.

Know Your Avatar Inside and Out

  • Fears: What are they afraid of losing if they don’t solve this problem?

  • Wants: What immediate relief are they craving?

  • Aspirations: Where do they dream of being in 5 or 10 years?

  • Frustrations: What’s driving them crazy right now?

2. Start Conversations: The Power of Daily Outreach

Talking to your market is the fastest way to get clients. But most people are too passive, waiting for leads to come to them. Instead, here’s how to take control:

Buy a Kitchen Timer ⏲️

  • Block out 60 minutes every day for outreach.

  • Use this time to reach out to potential clients, whether through cold DMs, engaging with people who comment on your content, or following up on inbound leads.

Pro Tip: Even at my level, I still start 30 new chats a day. Consistency is key.

Where to Start:

  1. Cold DMs: Be genuine and personalize your messages.

  2. People Who Engage: If someone likes or comments on your posts, reach out and start a conversation.

  3. Inbound Leads: When someone expresses interest, respond quickly and keep the dialogue going.

Your online profile is your storefront. If it doesn’t make a great first impression, you’re losing potential business.

Focus on Two Key Questions:

  1. If Your Ideal Client Visits: Is it immediately clear you can help them? Your bio, headline, and summary should be laser-focused on your offer.

  2. Next Steps: Are there clear, actionable ways for them to engage with you? Make it easy for them to book a call, download a resource, or learn more.

Eliminate distractions. If it doesn’t serve these two goals, remove it.

4. Create Content to Build Trust, Not Just to Sell

Here’s a game-changing truth: Content doesn’t equal money. But content does equal trust. And trust is what opens the door to conversations, which then convert into dollars.

The Content Hierarchy:

  1. TOFU (Top of Funnel): Create content that grabs attention.

    • Share lessons you’ve learned that can help your audience.

    • Tell personal stories to show your human side.

    • Highlight transformations to inspire hope and prove what’s possible.

  2. MOFU (Middle of Funnel): Educate and show your value.

    • Use “How I” or “How to” posts to share your expertise.

    • Break down your step-by-step process to show how you solve problems.

    • Describe what it’s like working with you to set expectations.

  3. BOFU (Bottom of Funnel): Close the deal.

    • Share case studies and highlight the results your clients have achieved.

    • Talk about the long-term impact of working with you.

    • Use the PAS (Problem, Agitate, Solution) formula to directly address your avatar’s pain points.

5. Follow Up Ruthlessly: The 1, 1, 3 Rule

The 1, 1, 3 Follow-Up Method:

  • 3 Days: Follow up three days later if you still haven’t heard back.

If you still don’t get a response, give them a week and then check in one last time. Always give them an easy out if they’re not interested. Being polite and professional keeps the door open for future opportunities.

6. Track, Measure, Adjust (TMAR): The Secret to Continuous Improvement

Focus on One Metric:
